l Staff Training Day — Third Friday in January
l Good Friday — Friday preceding Easter Sunday
l Easter — Monday following Easter Sunday
l Staff Training Day — Third Friday in April
l Memorial Day — Last Monday in May
l Independence Day — July 4
l Staff Training Day — Third Friday in July
l Labor Day — First Monday in September
l Staff Training Day — First Friday in October
l Veterans Day — November 11
l Thanksgiving Day — Fourth Thursday in November
l Black Friday — Day after Thanksgiving
l Staff Training Day — First Friday in December
l Winter Break — Christmas Eve through December 31
If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it will be observed either the preceding Friday or the following Monday. All scheduled closings will be announced in advance to help families make alternative arrangements.
Staff training days may vary from year to year and will be announced each January.
Delays, closings, late openings, and early dismissals may occur due to inclement weather, power outages, outbreaks of dangerous illnesses, staff training, or other circumstances deemed necessary by administration. Decisions will be made as early as possible, and families will be notified promptly.
Tots N Toyland does not follow the public school system’s schedule for weather-related delays or closings. All decisions regarding closures, late openings, and early dismissals are at the discretion of administration.
Notifications will be sent through the Brightwheel app, our primary method of communication. Families are responsible for staying connected to Brightwheel to receive important announcements and updates.
